Welcome to Disaster Training for Nurses
The purpose of this training is to provide an overview of emergency management, the role of the nurse in a disaster shelter, as well as a refresher on health assessment and medication management
The target audience is Public Health Nurses and Medical Reserve Corps volunteers who work in California.
Course components include 6 on-line modules. Each module consists of a video,  quiz, pre and post knowledge assessment and resources.  A downloadable PDF is also included.
Continuing Education Contact Hours: You will receive 5 contact hours upon completion of all modules and a course evaluation. The training is open indefinitely.
